Winding down....

My "work-mind" has been winding down, preparing for holidays in a pretty fast mode ;P

Just finished a 2D1N camp with my GB gals. Wow, realised that as I grow older, I kind of don't like camp anymore. Well, first it's the bed, then the bathing facilities. Still, there are some fun elements in camps.... but it's no joke having to plan, pack (the logistics can kill!) and execute the programme. Try running a 2-hour games session with a group of 20 gals.... always need to hype it up to excite them (and to keep myself going). Fun.... but tiring! And the gals don't seem to run out of energy at all! They don't even need to sleep at night!! Hmm... guess it's been a long, long time since I was young and loved staying up late with my girlfriends...hmm...

Counting down to June Hols

My system has been counting down to the June holidays.... it has been slowly refusing to work. Just trying to push work away! Looking forward to the month-long holidays is the only motivation. But I'll be having an extended holiday as I'll be going to UK to attend my brother's wedding! Yipee! Something else (that's different from others) to look forward to... ;p

Visit to the Air Force Museum

Went to the Air Force Museum today... seeing the all the planes and helicopters at the atrium is soooo exciting! They were all beautiful! The display panels had lots of info on the planes as well as Singapore's "air history". After going through the exhibition, I realised that Singapore (leaders) has put in lots of effort (& money) to build up our Air Force over the last 30 years! Not a long time, actually, considering the kind of advanced technology and the knowledge we've built up within that short time! I think it's truly a great accomplishment for our little red dot!

Exam is finally over! Phew... it was an alrite paper, if u know what I mean.. ;)
It's such a relieve to know that you've got time on your own to spare!

Think I'm really getting old... immune system isn't as strong as before. Been ill for about a week in mid-Mar. Caught the flu bug last month and just two days ago, I was feeling feverish... Is it the lack of rest (zooming around constantly) or is it lack of fresh juice & nutrients? Hmm.. it can even be lack of exercise!! Whatever it is, I got to constantly replenish liquids in my body as I get heaty easily... (sigh, no more Subway set meal for me.. cos there's chips included in the set meal! I can still take the sandwich tho ;b )

In 2 weeks' time, I'm gonna have my wedding photoshoot! So exciting, isn't it?? We're going for our gown/suit fitting next week... I wonder how I'll look in those gowns. No more having to hold them up while trying!! Hahaha... a girlfren "looked" thru that rite away when she saw the photo of me in my gown... "were your arms at your back cos the gown was too big for you?" I hope I don't lose any more weight before the photoshoot or the wedding!

Ciao... till I blog again...

All's Well Again!

Hahaha... it seems that the 'Compose' page can be fully loaded again!

Been working hard this week... eyes are so tired now!! Will be on leave next Mon & Tue becos I'm having exam next Tue! A little jittery about this exam as I'm not so sure how to prepare for it. It's not exactly a theory paper, nor a 'free-for-all' kind too... well, will just have to read the textbook and notes and see how it goes. Finally it's my final year... been waiting long for this to come. Still, I'd need to clear this paper and the part 2 of this module next semester. After that, I'm FREE!!!! Hahaha... FREE to go shopping whenever I want... FREE to laze around when Im feeling lazy... FREE to watch TV in the evening & at night... Free...FRee... FrEe... FREE..!!

The 'Create Posting' page can't seem to load properly on my notebook! I can't blog for the time being! Well, if this works, then I guess I'll have to bear with typing in the unfinished loading page ;(

OH NO!! I've fallen in love with.......

Recently, I fell in love with Subway sandwiches! What an addiction, you might say. But, do you know that their sandwiches are really so delicious that I actually crave for it?? Amazing, eh? The bread is so soft and yummy! And I love the different kinds of ham they offer! I've tried 3 different kinds of sandwiches in a week! Hahaha... fancy me falling in love with sandwiches!! Hahaha.... But Subway offers low-fat sandwiches and their sandwiches are said to be healthy meals! Though the sandwich looks big (6-inch), it's not difficult to finish it. And I like to purchase a set.... with a 22-oz drink and a small (really small!) pack of chips. I realised it's so satisfying to munch the chips at the end of the meal! Hahaha.... I'm just trying to curb my craving so that I won't end up getting tired of eating Subway! So... I guess I just have to be more self-disciplined to have Subway sandwich just once a week ;p

People Leaving, People Coming In

Today heard that a colleague will be leaving soon. Quite a surprise to hear that she'll be leaving to take up another position at this time of the year. Usually, don't we finish a whole year (or entire cycle)? Maybe it's my conventional mindset of "got beginning, got end" ( in Chinese "you shi you zhong"). This year, there'll be several colleagues retiring. That would mean several new additions to the team. Sigh. Perhaps I've grown used to the same group of people and being older now, it seems that I'm not as sociable as before and I'm not that keen to get into the cycle of getting-to-know new people anymore. We shall see how things go, ya?

Honeymoon Destination.......WHERE?!?!?!

Deciding on the honeymoon destination is soooo tough! Not that the places that my Darling & I want to go are different. In fact, we're both pretty easy-going about the places. At first we wanted to go a more remote beach resort @ Thailand. However, we're not very keen about travelling for 2 hours. Then we toyed with the idea of going Bali (romantic ya?), but the security level of the place is quite a question mark. We'd love to visit places, do little shopping and spend time with each other. Sigh! I never know it's so difficult deciding on where to go for honeymoon! How come it's not that tough when deciding where to go for vacation with my frens?? I guess finally we're re-looking at Thailand as a possible destination as recommended by a couple frens who went there for their honeymoon 3 years back. At least, we're sure that we can feast on the cheap and good food, do lots of shopping @ Bangkok and still enjoy the scenery.... most important of all, my Darling is with me!! =)
